Session Description: Time for the winter holidays? Join FosterClub in this engaging and fun way to celebrate the holiday season. We know the holiday season can be a challenging time for youth in care so let's explore tools to survive the season and create a holiday party youth will enjoy.

Learning objectives:

Upon completion of this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Express what the winter holidays mean to you (Story of Self/Personal Narrative)
  • Prepare and cook a meal to contribute to a holiday party (Purpose/Meaningful contribution) 
  • Contribute to a group by providing a dish for a large meal (Attachment & Connectedness)
  • Describe and practice what you need during the Holiday season (Self-Regulation)
