Session Description: Dealing with birth family can be confusing and chaotic. These relationships often require special attention. Through role-playing scenarios and rich group discussion, one can begin to formulate strategies for building safe and healthy relationships with family members.
Learning objectives:
Upon completion of this workshop participants will be able to:
- Describe a time when you needed support and/or didn’t have it (Story of Self/ Personal Narrative)
- Recognize the value of having a support network (Attachment & Connectedness)
- Connect with feelings related to support and adulthood expectations (Self-Regulation)
